Quality, Food & Product Safety

Advanced Troubleshooting

Expert resolution of critical failures in quality, safety, and process performance.

Consumer and regulatory trust is tested when systems fail. Our approach is designed to intervene, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to product quality, safety, and security, restoring control and operational stability.

Aimed at

  • Directors and managers of Quality, Safety, and Product Safety in the food industry, CPGs, and cosmetics.
  • Operations / Manufacturing / Plant Managers and continuous improvement leaders (Lean / Six Sigma)
  • Regulatory and Compliance teams responsible for audits, inspections, and product release
  • Supply Chain and Procurement in managing suppliers, raw materials, packaging materials, and co-manufacturing
  • R&D / Product Development and Technology Transfer (scaling, formulation changes, and process robustness)

Expected impact

  • Effective resolution of critical and recurring problems
  • Restoration of process and product control
  • Reduction of incidents, crises, shutdowns, and regulatory risks
  • More stable, predictable, and reliable operations
  • Greater trust from customers, consumers, and authorities

Advanced troubleshooting of critical processes

We perform an in-depth technical analysis to stabilize processes with unstable performance, high variability, capacity losses, or out-of-specification (OOS/OOT) results. We integrate plant evidence (critical parameters, trends, operating conditions, maintenance, training) with regulatory and product release criteria. We identify and prioritize technical and systemic causes that compromise product safety and safety, process capability, and compliance (e.g., HACCP, GMP/ISO in CPG; ISO 22716 and microbiological control in cosmetics). We convert the diagnosis into a robust corrective and preventive action plan, with containment measures, effectiveness verification, and operational sustainability.

Structural resolution of deviations and non-conformities

We address recurring deviations and critical events with a structural approach that goes beyond the symptom: OOS/OOT, safety failures, product safety incidents, consumer complaints, market alerts, detentions, and rejections. We conduct root cause investigations with technical rigor (variability analysis, process maps, risk assessment, data integrity) and alignment with the quality system.

The result is a defensible and auditable resolution that eliminates the root cause, strengthens preventive controls, and reduces the likelihood of recurrence, escalation, or crisis (withdrawals/recalls in food and CPG; contamination, stability, and compatibility in cosmetics). We prioritize high-impact actions with clear owners, implementation times, and measurable efficacy criteria.

Intervention in quality, safety, and product safety systems

When failures are no longer isolated events and reveal system gaps, we intervene to diagnose and strengthen key components of the management model: quality governance, change control, deviations/CAPA management, validation/verification, release, supplier control, traceability, and incident response.

We restore traceability, documentation robustness, and operational control with practices aligned with applicable frameworks (HACCP, GFSI schemes in food; quality systems for CPG; ISO 22716 and safety assessments in cosmetics). The objective is to ensure solid and defensible technical evidence for audits and inspections, with sustainable controls on the floor and a system that can "predict" performance again.

Process optimization under operational pressure

In scenarios of operational pressure (shutdowns, demand peaks, formulation changes, raw material or capacity limitations), we correct and stabilize processes that impact yield, waste, rework, shrinkage, changeover times, and response times, without compromising product safety or compliance.

Troubleshooting is aimed at recovering performance in the short term with technical discipline: control of critical parameters, reduction of variation, setpoint adjustments, improvement of cleaning and sanitization/CIP, allergen and cross-contamination management (food/CPG), and microbiological control/stability/packaging compatibility (cosmetics). We conclude with standardization, training, and monitoring to sustain results.
